The morality and the myth.

This is the 30th post in my blog and am proud of it.

This post would consist of my most favorite topics which is religion: the way of life as Swami Vivekananda called it and as I've read somewhere that 'religion clears all the obstacles and allows you to see yourself' or 'self realization'.

So, th
e rural India or rather the Indian mentality as I appreciate it, prevail the 'hindu' religion by praying god, offering him flowers and whatever they do to make him happy.

But as I've nailed a fact that after studying the Bhagavat Gita or Mahabharata, their morality remains the very same.
What they've mistaken is if you please god, then your life will be of some meaning.
They have to suck out the morality(or rather understand) from great epics like Mahabharata and Ramayana, instead what they do is talk about the greatness of god and prevail the very same cheap selfish behavior in them.

I've noticed over many people leading life in this manner as one of them is my classmate who has never been any use to
me when I was in need,He did nothing but praised God and was branded as 'a good kid' where as his attitude and his thinking isn't of any use to the society.

I am not blaming the teachings of the religion but it is upto the people to understand this fact.

Even a single thing in these tales of Vishnu, Ganesha teach us something. As I've read the story of Ganesha online, a sentence caught my eye
: 'If you want to know why he rides on a rat, you must understand that his rat can get into all the small places where Ganesha cannot go; this helps him in his work of solving and removing difficulties.'

This sentence consists of such morality and it was very similar to Bernard Shaw's saying: 'Nothing is superior by its size, but by its purpose'

Another best example would be Rama constructing the ram sethu uniting all the vanaras or monkeys and working hard together.

Believing god is real or not is left to you, but try to attain the morality in these epics and tales as for it can be of great use to you in life, encouraging you to achieve things with no inferiority complex or whatever is your weakness.

So this post, I preach would change your thinking. More to come!
